I went through the Sony Open Devices guide: unlocked my Xperia 1 ii, built AOSP, integrated GApps, flashed to my phone. Just to see if it's better than the Sony update. Apart from removing the annoying 1 second pause to switch apps, it has all the same annoyances as the the official Sony Android 12 update + extra annoyances due to being plain AOSP.
